Postero Alto 

Where: beside of the fire-department of the Loma de Enmedio in the municipality of Jerez del Marquesado.

It is run by the Enviromental Council.

El refugio de Poqueira

Where: at 2.500 m beside the confluence of the river Río Mulhacén and the River Río Seco at the Hoya de Peñon, above the Barranco del Poquería.

It belongs to the European Net of Mountain Shelters and has a capacity of 87 persons.

Vivac de la Caldera

Where: above the Laguna de la Caldera (altitude: 3.100 metros). It has a smaller capacity of only 12 persons.

 

Vivac de la Carigüela

Where: between the Pico del Veleta and Los Tajos de la Virgen with a capacity of 12 persons
